The test machine for carrying out fatigue tests with small specimens and at low loads. The facility will be more suitable for carrying out tests on thin foils, sheets, etc., in the load range of upto 10N.  Tests can be done with differerent frequencies. Preliminary fatigue crack growth tests conducted on thin stainless steel and brass indicated the satisfactory performance. The test unit is equiped with high precision load cell and a power data acqusition sytem that enable precise measurement of loads.
