IIITD&M, the fully funded Government of India Institute offers education for the 21st Century. The Institute offers three innovative undergraduate programs viz.,, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering (Design and Manufacturing) and Mechanical Engineering (Design & Manufacturing), two novel Master of Design programs (Electronic Systems and Mechanical Systems) and Doctoral Research programs. The Institute adopts Experiential Learning Approach and has the state of the laboratories required for the academic programs.

The Undergraduate admission is only through AIEEE – CCB All India Rank and you will have classmates across the country.For the regular candidates are concerned, entry to Master of Design (M Des) programs is based on GATE score and Interview.

The faculty members of Institute are highly qualified and the Institute maintains a healthy student-faculty ratio of about 12:1. All the students will have a faculty adviser who advices the students on course selection, job searches and non academic topics.

The permanent campus of the Institute will be located near the dynamic Chennai City with the state of the art facilities.
